Try to meditate at the same time every day. It's the best way to create a habit out of it. Set an alarm each day!
You don't have to find the perfect, most tranquil place to meditate. You can do it literally anywhere, anytime. It's okay if you become distracted while meditating, the point is to come back to the present moment as many times as you can and stay there as long as you can throughout the practice.
Find someone to meditate with you, that way you guys can hold each other accountable.
Have fun! Don't take it too seriously! Just let it be what it is :)
